OUR 3D POLYMER TECHNOLOGIES
We are developing a series of biodegradable, biocompatible, and bioabsorbable polymers and formulations suitable for medical device applications.
Our medical polymers development is designed to use 3-D printing technology to make suitable parts for medical devices. Our first-generation polymers are based on patented, functionalized amino acid derivatives (Tyrosine-derived polymers) with various molecular weights which can be printed via liquid process using 3-D printers.Various conventional medical devices used today are manufactured with complex spray coating technology.
Our technology has the potential to incorporate pharmaceutical compounds during the 3-D printing process to make slow-release capsules, gels, or medical devices, with the added benefit of a simplified, cost-effective manufacturing process via cutting edge 3-D printing technology.
OUR INNOVATION IN MEDICAL DEVICES
We have extensive experience in industrial grade high temperature 3-D printing material development, and we are working with leading 3-D printing companies for materials development.
We have expanded our knowledge of industrial 3-D printing material development into 3-D bioabsorbable polymers which can be printed using 3-D printing technology with complex structures suitable to replace the current complex coating process in medical devices.
